Janet's debut concert tour was the Rhythm Nation World Tour, that was launched in support of her fourth studio album Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814. The Janet. World Tour is her second world tour. Concerts were held in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. In support of her sixth studio album The Velvet Rope, Janet Jackson embarked the Velvet Rope World Tour. The tour grossed over 33 million dollars in the United States alone. The next two tours were All for You Tour (2001–02) and Rock Witchu Tour (2008). Number Ones: Up Close and Personal is Jackson's sixth concert tour, launched in support of her second compilation album, Number Ones.
