About 30 Seconds to Mars

30 Seconds to Mars is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California by chief songwriter Jared Leto (vocals, rhythm guitar) and his brother Shannon Leto (drums, percussion), with other members joining the band later. The band have released three albums: 30 Seconds to Mars (2002), A Beautiful Lie (2005), and This Is War (2009). 30 Seconds to Mars has received 45 awards of 69 nominations. Their music has been associated mostly with progressive rock, progressive metal and post-grunge. 30 Seconds to Mars has performed throughout the world, including tours in North America, South America, Europe, Australasia, and Japan.
