Kendrick Lamar is a hip hop recording artist, member of Black Hippy collective. He has often been compared to Tupac, Eminem, Nas, and Jay-Z. His debut studio album, Section.80, was released in July 2011. The album peaked at number 113 on the US Billboard 200. Lamar's second studio album, Good Kid, M.A.A.D City, was released in October 2012 and peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. In 2012, he appeared on Drake's Club Paradise tour. Kendrick Lamar also toured with the rest of Black Hippy and Stalley on the BET Music Matters Tour.
