The impossibly cool yet unpretentious, US twelve piece orchestra, offer a live experience of relaxed musicality blending jazz, cabaret, lounge and 1940s-50s film music. Their influences are far-reaching, ranging from Cole Porter and Duke Ellington to Edith Piaf to a variety of music from around the world including French chanson, Afro-Cuban salsa, Argentinean tango, Brazilian samba and bossa nova, Italian folk, Greek rembetiko and Middle Eastern music. Its multi-lingual lounge pop, if the United Nations had a house band in 1962 Pink Martini would be it.
